Griesbach & Associates is a consortium of independent social policy researchers and analysts, with skills and expertise in a wide range of social and health policy areas.
Dawn Griesbach is the Director and Principal Researcher of Griesbach & Associates. She is a qualified and highly experienced researcher and project manager, who has previously worked in central government, university and NHS organisations.
Much of her current work involves evaluation (often large-scale national evaluation), needs assessment and consultation analysis. However, she also has extensive experience of community consultation and engagement, and of research involving vulnerable populations, including children and young people, people with mental illness, people with learning disabilities, survivors of sexual abuse, and people with addictions. Dawn has a strong commitment to social justice and to the empowerment of communities. She played a leading role in establishing a community development trust (Crieff Community Trust) in her own town, and continues to be involved in the work of that organisation. Her desire, in all her work, is to ensure that the voices of people who are most marginalised in our society are heard.
Dawn has an honours degree in social anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MSc in economic and social history from the University of Edinburgh.
She works in association with other research consultants from Scotland.
