Scottish Government framework agreement for consultation analysis

Griesbach & Associates are delighted to announce that we have been successful in our bid to be included in a Scottish Government-wide framework agreement for consultation analysis. Unlike other Scottish Government framework agreements which are focused on specific policy topics, this particular framework agreement covers a wide range of policy areas. Dawn will be working with outstanding associates Anne Birch, Colin Roxburgh, Cathy Sharp and Jen Waterton on this contract.

Review of Alcohol Focus Scotland published today

The Scottish Government has published the findings of a review of Alcohol Focus Scotland carried out by Dawn Griesbach and Audrey Mistry. This review was part of a rolling programme of reviews of voluntary sector agencies that receive more than £100k / year in grant funding from the Scottish Government. The main aim was to assess whether the Scottish Government is receiving value for money in relation to the grant it provides to AFS.

Scottish Government framework agreement in Equalities and Poverty

Dawn Griesbach is working with colleagues, Cathy Sharp and Anne Birch, under the auspices of Research for Real, on a Scottish Government framework agreement for consultation analysis in the area of Equalities and Poverty.

Under this framework agreement, Cathy, Anne and Dawn were chosen by the Scottish Government to carry out an analysis of responses to a consultation the Devolution of Community Care Grants and Crisis Loans.

Independent review of Alcohol Focus Scotland

Following a competitive tendering process, the Scottish Government have commissioned Griesbach & Associates (Dawn Griesbach and Audrey Mistry) to carry out an independent review of Alcohol Focus Scotland. This is part of a rolling programme of reviews (carried out every six years) of voluntary sector organisations that receive grant funding from the Scottish Government. The review is being carried out between October and December 2011, and will report early in 2012.

Impact evaluation of the Choose Life training programme

On 23 June, Dawn Griesbach presented the key findings of an impact evaluation of the Choose Life Training programme to an audience of mental health practitioners and service planners. This work was carried out with associate, Patricia Russell.

Equally Connected Learning Review published by Health Scotland

NHS Health Scotland has published a “learning review” of their Equally Connected Programme carried out by Jacki Gordon and Dawn Griesbach. Equally Connected aims to identify how to improve access to primary care mental health services for people from black and minority ethnic (BME) communities.
